So I'll have to be honest, I have not been that great lately when it comes to taking care of my natural 4b/4c hair. I have neglected my hair so much to the point that I am now suffering from tons of breakage and very low porosity hair all over my head. I have good reason though when your a mom with 4 boys and one of the tightest curl patterns on earth.
Sometimes I just don't want to do my hair and a lot of the times I just throw it into a bun, and go. I don't like going to salons since I can never get a sitter and I don't like to many people looking after my kids except me.
I even fell out of love with my hair for awhile and almost decided to cut it all off an go back to the TWA that I once had like Amber rose! -;)
However, this past couple of weeks I decided it was time to get serious again and I actually feel like doing my hair again. If you follow my blog you know that i'm not that big on styles. I'm lazy 😉 and easy come easy go is best for me. I actually would like to focus more on length retention and strengthening my hair again. I still use many of same natural products which I will have an updated hair regime coming up soon.
This journey has led me back to a tried and tested favorite, which is Alikay Naturals Lemongrass leave in conditioner and essential hair growth oil. I have been using this girls products since the early days of her company when it was being made out of her house. I still consider myself one of the first ones to try her products, I even met her in person before at her first hair booth event in Orlando years ago!
Alikay Natural'S products are now found in many stores from target to sally's and even in your local area at many salons.
My two favorite smell great and always leave my hair shinny and staying conditioned.
Alikay Naturals lemon grass leave – in Conditioner consists of:
